Nortwoods Retreats, October 3-5 and October 10-12

It is time to start making plans for our two Retreats at Camp Manito-Wish YMCA in Boulder Junction, WI.  The first weekend will be taught by A TOUCH OF AMISH employees using the FALLOWEEN book by Need'l Love.  There will be two main projects, Pumpkin Crazy and our version of Crow Magnet plus several smaller projects. You will pick which projects you would like...great fun as well as many techniques and fabrics, wool and cotton.

The second weekend will be taught by Karen Witt of Reproduction Quilts.  She has taught quilting for classes for twenty-five years and has lots of wonderful ideas to offer to us.  She has patterns for quilters interested in learning to use reproduction fabrics and create quilts of historical significance.  At this point our specific project has not been decided but check our her website, reproductionpatterns.com for more information.  Some people enjoy staying for both weekends and would like to stay at camp between the weekends.  There will be room for a limited number of spaces to do that as well.  The Northwoods is beautiful at that time of year!
