Have you
seen Aunt Philly‛s toothbrush rugs? They are fun to
make with just a simple tool that looks like the
handle of a toothbrush. Lengthwise strips of fabric
are used to create a rug that matches your quilt. It
is durable, washable and the entire process
additive. When you come to class, you will learn how
to form the stitch and how to increase. After
mastering that, you will learn how to start your own
rug. Great fun!

Class: Cobblestones
Teacher: Debbie Meyer Level: Advanced Beginner
Tuition: $24
One session: Thursday, September 25; 6:30-9:30 PM
You are ready to make this quilt after you are
comfortable with rotary cutting and sewing straight.
Now that doesn‛t sound too difficult. The pattern is
offered in two different sizes... crib and lap ...
and one of the joys of this quilt is seeing how the
fabrics go together. That is really the secret of
this quilt... kits available.
Project Linus
Project Linus meets in the shop the first Friday of
the month. Come to the shop and make friends. They
welcome quilts and fabrics as donations. Call the
shop to verify meeting times.

This is our recommendation as the best place to
start with your quilting

learned. You will be ready to spring board to the
stars after this class.
Class: One Hour Tote
Teacher: Mary Naumann Level: Advanced Beginner
Tuition: $16
One session: Saturday, September 27; 2 PM–4 PM
Okay, okay, we have scheduled the “one hour tote”
class for two hours. Mary adds so much to the class
that she needs two hours. What you will love about
this class is that you will have a tote bag, ready
to use and enjoy. Mary will show you extras to
go
into your tote. These totes make great gifts.
